Ingredients
  • 4 Slices Proscuitto
  • 4 Slices Provolone
  • 1 Thinly Sliced Tomato
  • 2 Tbsp. Pesto
  • 2 Foccacia Rolls or Similar
Instructions
  1. Slice the rolls in half and dig out any extra bread on the inside.
  2. Spread the pesto on the inside of both slices of bread.
  3. Build the Sandwich: Layer a slice of provolone, 2 slices of proscuitto, slices of tomato, then a last layer of provolone.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan on high until it is hot, then turn down to medium low. Add the sandwiches to the pan. Place a heavy pan on top and press down. (You can also add some cans to press it down harder). Cook for 3-4 minutes until lightly browned. Flip over and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned and cheese is melted.
