- 7 Large Yukon Gold Potatoes
- 1 Stick of melted unsalted butter
- Sea Salt & Fresh ground pepper
- Preheat the oven to 400.
- Peel the potatoes and using a mandolin, slice the potatoes super thin.
- Brush a cake pan with butter all over the pan.
- Arrange the potatoes in a single layer, around in a circle, starting with outside and buidling in, until you have 1 layer of potatoes.
- Brush the potatoes with the butter and season with salt & pepper.
- Continue this process until the pan is filled.
- Cook the potatoes for 30 minutes. Take the potatoes out of the oven and using a spatula, make sure they are able to move and not stick.
- Cook for an additional 30 minutes until the top is golden brown and the potatoes are very soft.
- Rest for 10 minutes.
- Flip potatoes over and slice into wedges.
